Conservation of CultureIn more and more countries cultural events are diminishing, because politicians see cost-reducing potential. The more important is private organizing those events. This has been succeeding with the seventh White Night at Tenuta Tenaglia. Daniel Fradkin has discovered Monferrato for himself some time ago. Fascinated of the fantastic landscape and of the wonderful people that he met he has decided to install a festival there. The exceptionally gifted musician knows as well that there are still enough festivals in the world but it is his way to show his love to the territory. From all over the world he convoked colleagues to play together in finest manner. This way he wants to memorize the rolling hills with their vineyards and their slow-living to the people and to elate them. Sabine Ehrmann, owner of Tenuta Tenaglia, has recognized at once the opportunity of this event and recruited it for her request by heart. World heritage Santuario di Crea with its monastery and 23 chapels that is situated directly above Tenuta Tenaglia needs urgently endorsement to renovate the chapels. Sabine has decided to gather money for chapel III. Therefore she presented the new wine Cappella III del Sacro Monte di Crea to her guests. A part of its revenue will be determined to sustain the renovation of the chapel that was already aided by patron Giorgio Tenaglia in 16 th century. Guests accept this idea as well and like the new wine. Enjoying it they listen to chamber music of former centuries. After concert the musicians of Bacchus and Bach and guests relished the buffet and the extraordinary wines of Tenuta Tenaglia – nearly up to sunrise. Another White Night ended softly but not without having set important impulses to cultur of Piedmont. |
