Sabine Ehrmann comes from the famous entrepreneurs' family Ehrmann from Memmingen, Bacvaria, which has become worldwide well-known by the yoghourt of the same name. After she had sitten her Abitur with economic orientation she studied education. Then she worked for nearly six years in various social organizations. During this time she was travelling a lot to different countries to broaden her horizon.

When Sabine Ehrmann visits Ischia in the nineties she knows: She has been arrived. For one year she still switches between Italy and Germany. Then she makes the acquaintance of the painter and sculptor Giuseppe Olivieri and settles down finally on Ischia. When her both children are old enough Ehrmann makes her dream comes true: She becomes owner of the historic wine-growing estate La Tenaglia.

Up to now it is not her only (but also) aim to produce wine of finest quality. But she also wants to realize an international meeting point of art and culture at La Tenaglia. This passion expresses itself by the slogan: "Il Vino è Amore“.
