Visiting the wine-growing estate you should have time enough to see the "holy mountain". A monastery, 23 chapels and 5 cells includes the Santuario di Crea founded in the 16th century. Into the chapels one can see the mysteries of the rosary. The particular aspect of the touristic and religious highlight: The chapels are arranged along a loop road over the ridge.

Centrepiece is doubtless the Cappella del Paradiso on the highest point of the ridge. Who reaches this place, has come a little bit nearer to heaven - and will be rewarded with a fantastic vista.

The area is open the whole year and it is absolutely worth seeing. When you want to find the chapels with open doors you should chose a holiday for your visit. Apart from that the opening hours differ seasonally. There a only a few metres between La Tenaglia and the monastery.
