Debut of Rosé

Tenuta Tenaglia has committed itself to transparency of its production. The annual report about harvest belongs to that. How nice when it can be told enjoyable.

Wine is built in the vineyard", after the current harvest Massimo Malatesta, technical counsil of Tenuta Tenaglia, is convinced about this opinion more than ever. After a long and strong winter with a lot of snow, February appeared in unsettled manner. From second half of June on there was a big heat that was tempered finally by some rainy days in August. Such weather doesn't even fire growth of grapes. "In this situation you have to go into the vineyard and have to thin out grapes and leafage when you want to get extraordinary quality", Roberto Imarisio, enologist of Tenuta Tenaglia, describes the challenge of this year's harvest. .Of course a little bit of luck belongs to knowledge and manpower. September and October brought a very fine weather. This way grapes could reach best maturity.

Wines of harvest 2010 show an eccellent structure, fruity perfumes and a little bit less grade of alcohol. The wines of this vintage will pleasure palate and throat again. Next year there will be a rosé wine for the first time within the range of Tenuta Tenaglia. "Therefore we can complete our range with a wine that is wonderful as an appetizer and for summer", Sabine Ehrmann enjoys the gain.
